
PROPERTY
RIGHTS:
All media and
material recorded or mixed will remain the property of The Hit Factor Studios
until the booked time has been paid in full and all checks have cleared. This
includes, but is not limited to wav files, MP3's, DVD's, CD's, Floppy Disks,
Zip Disks, Cassettes, DAT's, graphic design, and any hard drives that files
might be stored on.
ROUGH MIXES:
To receive rough
mixes or any reference mix, all account balances must be paid in full and all
checks must have cleared.
LATE ARRIVALS:
Late arrivals
will still be billed from the start time booked for the session.
CANCELLATION:
All cancellations
must be at least 24 hours in advance from the time of the session booked.
BACK-UPS
AND STORAGE OF MEDIA:
The Hit Factor
takes great care in the handling of files on our computers. We periodically back up and save our
sessions in the unlikely event of loss or damage of files. However, we can
assume no liability for lost or damaged files. It is also highly recommended that clients purchase their
own hard drive to back-up all session and audio files.
PROPERTY
DAMAGE:
Any damage to the
studio, including studio property and studio equipment, resulting from
negligence will be billed to the client accordingly. Please be careful around
the studio equipment.
CLIENT
EQUIPMENT:
We may be able to
leave client and band gear set-up in the studio as long as it takes to finish a
project, but we will assume no liability for any client/band equipment.
OTHER POLICIES:
No alcohol or drugs on the studio property. Cigarette smoking is outside only.
